Welcome to the 4th edition of Camp allroad Europe

The “Audi allroad Quattro” was launched in March 2000 and was based on the A6 Avant, but with a more rigid body styling. The project was originally called ‘C5 Hunter’ but was later changed to ‘allroad’ before its launch. The second generation was introduced in 2006 and was named the ‘A6 allroad’ because due to the success of the first generation, an ‘A4 allroad’ was being planned which was later launched in 2009. Apart from the A4 allroad which has a fixed higher ride height, all other allroads feature adjustable air suspension which allows for a higher ride height to enable greater ground clearance when required. In addition to this feature, all allroads have wider wheel arches, chrome protection and many other details which give it its rugged and distinctive look.

Camp allroad Europe has been created to bring true allroad fans together from across all of Europe, and to ensure the allroad achieves its much deserved place in classic car history. This year Belgium has been chosen as host country and the main attraction will be a visit to the racetrack of Spa-Francorchamps. The event will be held in such a way that there is an exciting program setup, with spectacular drives through the Belgian countryside and time to “talk allroads” with other fans. This year, an offroad track is added on Sunday.

Planning

This year we decided to give the hotels a miss and instead stay at a family friendly camping site which can be considered as our “base camp” for the duration of the event. The base camp is situated within the eastern part of Belgium in an area called the ‘Ardennes’ which is known for its beautiful nature and castles. You can rent a chalet, bring your own camping trailer or tent. To make it easier for the participants, the complete event will take place during the weekend.

Friday evening 14th of June 2019 arrival at the camping site (optional)

The event won’t actually start until the morning of Saturday the 15th June 2019, but those who wish to camp the night before can do so at the camping site “L’Eau Rouge” at Route de L’Eau Rouge 8a, 4970, Stavelot, Belgium.  www.eaurouge.nl

You can rent a chalet for 6/4 persons down to a camping spot for tent/camping trailer. This includes a heated swimming pool and children’s playing area if you wish to bring your family with you. BOOK YOUR ACCOMODATION ON TIME!!!

Your booking can be made online at their website: https://en.eaurouge.nl,

Or by writing them an e-mail on: info@eaurouge.nl

If you wish to share a chalet with other participants, mark it when booking and I will share the e-mail addresses between the participants so you can make your own arrangements.

Make sure you mention “Camp allroad Europe Spa Francorchamps” when you book your accommodation at the camping site. They will also try to keep us closer together.
